The End Alcohol Advertising in Sport campaign calls for alcohol advertising to be phased out of professional sports. This is an initiative by the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education, supported by health organisations across Australia.
The End Alcohol Advertising in Sport campaign officially launched in Melbourne. At the launch, FARE’s Michael Thorn said the campaign would begin by calling for an end to the exemption allowing alcohol companies to advertised on TV during children’s viewing hours when sport is televised.
